Pre-Sale Building Inspection

From $500 plus GST

A Pre-Sale Building Inspection is carried out before putting the property in the market, giving you a full picture of the property’s current condition.

  • Know and Understand the Property’s Condition

Before selling your property, you should check the current condition to avoid any surprise from the purchasers and real estate agents.  Also, you should be aware of issues that may affect your sale and take remedial action if necessary to maximise the sale.

  • Prepare for the Sale

We recommend a Pre-Sale Building Inspection 2 to 4 weeks prior to listing to correct any issues or maintenance and update the report if necessary.

  • BOINZ Accredited Inspection

Quality House Inspections has built a proven inspection methodology over time encompassing the NZS 4306:2005, which is carried out by a BOINZ (Building Officials Institute of New Zealand) Licensed & Accredited Building Surveyor. Quality House Inspections is also well recognised and accepted by all the banks in New Zealand.

  • Comprehensive Detailed Report

A comprehensive detailed report on the current status will be provided, clearly highlighted with photos, comments and recommendations.  If there are any inaccessible areas, they will be clearly noted by reasoning. Our reports comply with NZS 4306:2005.

  • Same Day Turnaround

Our standard turnaround time for Pre-Sale Building Inspection reports is the same day of the inspection. This gives the seller time to remedy any negative issues that might affect the sale price.

  • Insurance – Clients’ Protection

All works come with Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance to provide our clients with additional protection.
